Who We Are/Quienes Somos
The Mission Anti-displacement Coalition (MAC) is a group of community organizations and individuals whose goal is to stop the displacement of working peoples from the Mission District and San Francisco. We envision and organize for affordable, healthy, culturally vibrant & politically engaged communities.
We believe that everyday peoples, not corporate developers & sell out politicians, should be planning the future of our neighborhoods. We do this by advocating for a set of urban reform demands created by the very people who live, work, pray & play in the community.
La Coalición Anti-desplazamiento de la Misión es formado en parte por organizaciónes y gente cuales quieren parar el desalojo y desplazamiento de nuestra gente de San Francisco. Organizamos el pueblo para realizar una vision en donde nuestra comunidades son accesible, saludable, economicamente fuerte, rico en cultura y politicamente poderos@s.
Creamos que nuestra comunidad, no los urbanizadores corporativas ni los politicos traicióneros, deben planear el futuro de nuestros barrios. Abogamos por una reforma urbana creado por la misma gente quienes viven, trabajan, rezan y juegan en el barrio. ¡Calle y Libertad Por Vida!
